15/11/04 - I put my copper gold OHM male with a beautiful blue girl i bred from my Spawn 27/06/04 grmhmm-grsdf. They both were excellent breeders and parents. 3/12/04 - About 20 to 30 healthy babies so far, hard to tell with all the java moss in the tank. I have used the jinxed tank that i have so far had no luck with, im hoping to break the jinx with this spawn. There is one big baby but no sliders that i can see. fingers crossed this will be an excellent spawn. 19/12/04 - I had to jar the fish below in the picture as at only 3 weeks old he/she was responsible for eating half the spawn. I caught it a couple of time and that was enough.. jarred. This fish had a dramatic growth spurt at 2-3 weeks and is now the size of 7-8 week fry and is only 4 weeks old. A very pretty blue/green but way ahead of the rest of the spawn.
3/01/05 - This little fellow has started attaining the perfect butterfly formation. He is metallic green. This is a very small spawn with the others now growing well and colouring up.
(there is glass between the opal and the butterfly boy)
